Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The Projected 2013 Iditarod Winner Is. The projected 2013 Iditarod Winner is the fan because this has been an unbelievable journey to watch. It looks like it is going to be a nail biter all the way to the Burled Arches. Take a look at the historical race times from White Mountain to Nome for the top 5 in the past 4 years. It started at Chatanika Lodge, north of Two Rivers, on a wide, well groomed trail. The views were 360 for much of the route to Two Rivers, really spectacular and I was wishing I had a camera with me.

Sunday, March 12, 2017. Iditarod 2017 - The Race to the Coast. The Iditarod sled dog race is nearly a week old, and the race for the lead is heating up. The top five teams are heading towards the coastal village of Unalakleet, the first stop on the Bering Sea coast. And while weather is always a wildcard on the final leg of the race, at this point, the winner would appear to come from this bunch. Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
